Diego Piqueras-Losilla is a Project Leader and Research Scientist at ARTHEx Biotech, where he leads preclinical research projects focused on the development of miRNA-based oligonucleotide therapeutics for rare diseases. His research background spans miRNA modulation, disease mechanisms, pharmacology, and extrahepatic delivery, with a particular focus on overcoming biological barriers to enable effective oligonucleotide delivery to the CNS. He is currently completing his PhD in Biomedicine and Biotechnology at the University of Valencia.
